Pamusha Sunset Cruise

As the afternoon heat lets go and the Zambezi starts catching the last of the light, step aboard one of our own boats for an evening on the river.

This is not a booking we pass to somebody else. Pamusha Cruises operates its own fleet on the Zambezi above the falls, which means the experience begins and ends with us.

Three boats, one river

We run three vessels, each suited to a different kind of evening — larger group cruises, smaller private charters, and everything in between.

Boat names, passenger capacities and onboard facilities to be confirmed by Pamusha and added here.

An evening on the Zambezi

The river above the falls is broad, slow and busy with life. Hippos surface and submerge without much ceremony. Crocodiles lie along the sandbanks. Elephants cross between the islands, and the birdlife picks up noticeably as the afternoon cools.

The falls themselves are not part of the cruise. The experience is the river above them, which is a quieter and in some ways more rewarding thing.

What you may see

Hippo, crocodile, elephant, and a great deal of birdlife, depending on the season and the day. Wildlife is never guaranteed, but the river rarely disappoints.

Times

Departure is confirmed when you book. Sunset moves through the year, and so do we, so the boat leaves earlier in winter and later in summer. The cruise runs around two hours on the water.
